Your privacy is of utmost importance to me.

Personal data (usually referred to just as "data" below) will only be processed by me to the extent necessary and for the purpose of providing a functional and user-friendly website, including its contents, and the services offered there.

Per Art. 4 No. 1 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, i.e. the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter referred to as the "GDPR"), "processing" refers to any operation or set of operations such as collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation, alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination, or otherwise making available, alignment, or combination, restriction, erasure, or destruction performed on personal data, whether by automated means or not.

The following privacy policy is intended to inform you in particular about the type, scope, purpose, duration, and legal basis for the processing of such data either under my own control or in conjunction with others. I also inform you below about the third-party components that I use to optimize my website and improve the user experience which may result in said third parties also processing data they collect and control.

II. The Rights of Users and Data Subjects

With regard to the data processing to be described in more detail below, users and data subjects have the right

to confirmation of whether data concerning them is being processed, information about the data being processed, further information about the nature of the data processing, and copies of the data (cf. also Art. 15 GDPR),
to correct or complete incorrect or incomplete data (cf. also Art. 16 GDPR),
to the immediate deletion of data concerning them (cf. also Art. 17 DSGVO), or, alternatively, if further processing is necessary as stipulated in Art. 17 Para. 3 GDPR, to restrict said processing per Art. 18 GDPR,
to receive copies of the data concerning them and/or provided by them and to have the same transmitted to other providers/controllers (cf. also Art. 20 GDPR),
to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority if they believe that the data provider is processing data relating to them in violation of data protection regulations (see also Art. 77 GDPR).

In addition, the controller is obliged to inform all recipients to whom it discloses data of any such corrections, deletions, or restrictions placed on processing the same per Art. 16, 17 Para. 1, 18 GDPR. However, this obligation does not apply if such notification is impossible or involves a disproportionate effort. Nevertheless, users have a right to information about these recipients.

III. Information About the Data Processing

Your data processed when using my website will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of storage no longer applies, the deletion of the data does not conflict with any legal retention obligations and no other information on individual processing procedures is provided below.

Server Data

For technical reasons, the following data sent by your internet browser to me or to my server provider will be collected, especially to ensure a secure and stable website: These server log files record the type and version of your browser, operating system, the website from which you came (referrer URL), the webpages on my site visited, the date and time of your visit, as well as the IP address from which you visited our site.

The data thus collected will be temporarily stored, but not in association with any other of your data.

The basis for this storage is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. My legitimate interest lies in the improvement, stability, functionality, and security of my website.

The data will be deleted within no more than seven days, unless continued storage is required for evidentiary purposes. In which case, all or part of the data will be excluded from deletion until the investigation of the relevant incident is finally resolved.

I use cookies on our website. Cookies are small text files or other storage technologies stored on your computer by your browser. These cookies process certain specific information about you, such as your browser, location data, or IP address.

This processing makes my website more user-friendly, efficient, and secure, allowing me, for example, to display my website in different languages or to offer a shopping cart function.

The legal basis for such processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b) GDPR, insofar as these cookies are used to collect data to initiate or process contractual relationships.

If the processing does not serve to initiate or process a contract, my legitimate interest lies in improving the functionality of my website. The legal basis is then Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f) GDPR.

Order Processing

The data you submit when ordering goods and/or services from me will have to be processed in order to fulfil your order. Please note that orders cannot be processed without providing this data.

The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b) GDPR.

After your order has been completed, your personal data will be deleted, but only after the retention periods required by tax and commercial law.

In order to process your order, I will share your data with the shipping company responsible for delivery to the extent required to deliver your order and/or with the payment service provider to the extent required to process your payment.

The legal basis for the transfer of this data is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b) GDPR.

Customer Account/Registration

If you create a customer account with me via my website, I will use the data you entered during registration (e.g. your name, your address, or your email address) exclusively for services leading up to your potential placement of an order or entering some other contractual relationship with me, to fulfill such orders or contracts, and to provide customer care (e.g. to provide you with an overview of your previous orders or to be able to offer you a wishlist function). I also store your IP address and the date and time of your registration. This data will not be transferred to third parties.

During the registration process, your consent will be obtained for this processing of your data, with reference made to this privacy policy. The data collected by me will be used exclusively to provide your customer account.

If you give your consent to this processing, Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a) GDPR is the legal basis for this processing.

If the opening of the customer account is also intended to lead to the initiation of a contractual relationship with us or to fulfill an existing contract with us, the legal basis for this processing is also Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b) GDPR.

You may revoke your prior consent to the processing of your personal data at any time under Art. 7 Para. 3 GDPR with future effect. All you have to do is inform me that you are revoking your consent.

The data collected in this regard will be deleted as soon as processing is no longer necessary. However, I must observe tax and commercial law retention periods in this regard.

I use the data protection-secure ‘Shariff’ buttons. “Shariff” was developed to enable greater privacy on the internet and to replace the usual ‘share’ buttons on social networks. It is not the user's browser, but the server on which this online offer is located that establishes a connection with the server of the respective social media platforms and queries, for example, the number of likes, etc. The user remains anonymous. The following information provides details about the content of my newsletter, the registration and delivery process, statistical analysis procedures, and your rights to object. By subscribing to my newsletter, you agree to receive it and consent to the procedures described.

Double opt-in procedure and logging: Registration for my newsletter takes place in a so-called double opt-in procedure. This means that after registering, you will receive an email asking you to confirm your registration. This confirmation is necessary so that no one can register with someone else's email address. Newsletter registrations are logged in order to be able to verify the registration process in accordance with legal requirements. The newsletter is sent and the success measurement associated with it is based on the consent of the recipient in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a, Art. 7 GDPR in conjunction with § 7 Para. 2 No. 3 UWG or, if consent is not required, on the basis of my legitimate interests in direct marketing in accordance with. Art. 6 para. 1 according to f. GDPR in conjunction Section 7 (3) UWG.

The logging of the registration process is based on my legitimate interests in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. My interest is focused on the use of a user-friendly and secure newsletter system that serves my business interests as well as the expectations of the users and also allows me to prove consent.

Cancellation/revocation: You can cancel your subscription to my newsletter at any time by revoking your consent. You will find a link to cancel the newsletter at the end of each newsletter. I may store the unsubscribed email addresses for up to three years on the basis of my legitimate interests before deleting them in order to be able to prove that consent was previously given. The processing of this data is limited to the purpose of a possible defence against claims. An individual request for deletion is possible at any time, provided that the former existence of consent is confirmed at the same time.

The newsletter is sent by the service provider MailerLite, Paupio 46, 11341 Vilnius, Lithuania. You can view the data protection regulations of the service provider here: https://www.mailerlite.com/privacy-policy. The shipping service provider is based on my legitimate interests. Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR and an order processing contract in accordance with 28 para. 3 sentence 1 GDPR.

You can revoke your consent to the newsletter being sent at any time with future effect in accordance with Art. 7 Para. 3 GDPR. All you have to do is inform me of your revocation or click on the unsubscribe link contained in each newsletter.

The shipping service provider can store the recipient's data in pseudonymous form, i.e. use without assignment to a user, to optimize or improve their own services, e.g. use for technical optimization of the dispatch and presentation of the newsletter or for statistical purposes. However, the shipping service provider does not use the data of my newsletter recipients to write to them themselves or to pass the data on to third parties.

The newsletters contain a so-called "web beacon", i.e. a pixel-sized file that is retrieved from my server when the newsletter is opened or, if we use a shipping service provider, from their server. As part of this retrieval, technical information, such as information about the browser and your system, as well as your IP address and time of retrieval are initially collected.

This information is used to improve the technical aspects of the services based on the technical data or the target groups and their reading behaviour based on their access locations (which can be determined using the IP address) or access times. The statistical surveys also include determining whether the newsletters are opened, when they are opened and which links are clicked on. For technical reasons, this information can be assigned to individual newsletter recipients. However, it is neither my intention nor, if used, that of the mailing service provider to monitor individual users. Rather, the evaluations serve to identify the reading habits of my users and to adapt my content to them or to send different content according to the interests of my users.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to cancel performance measurement separately; in this case, the entire newsletter subscription must be cancelled.

Contact

If you contact me via email or the contact form, the data you provide will be used for the purpose of processing your request. I must have this data in order to process and answer your inquiry. Ootherwise, I will not be able to answer it in full or at all.

The legal basis for this data processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b) GDPR.

Your data will be deleted once I have fully answered your inquiry and there is no further legal obligation to store your data, such as if an order or contract resulted therefrom.

Social Media Links via Graphics

I also advertise presences on the social networks listed below on my website. This is done by means of a linked graphic from the respective network. The use of this linked graphic prevents a connection from being automatically established to the respective social network server when a website with a social media advertisement is accessed in order to display a graphic from the respective network itself. Only by clicking on the corresponding graphic is the user redirected to the service of the respective social network.

Once you click, that network may record information about you and your visit to our site. It cannot be ruled out that such data will be processed in the United States.

Initially, this data includes such things as your IP address, the date and time of your visit, and the page visited. If you are logged into your user account on that network, however, the network operator might assign the information collected about your visit to our site to your personal account. If you interact by clicking Like, Share, etc., this information can be stored your personal user account and possibly posted on the respective network. To prevent this, you need to log out of your social media account before clicking on the graphic. The various social media networks also offer settings that you can configure accordingly.

I maintain an online presence on LinkedIn to present my services and to communicate with customers/prospects. I would like to point out that this might cause user data to be processed outside the European Union, particularly in the United States. This may increase risks for users that, for example, may make subsequent access to the user data more difficult. We also do not have access to this user data. Access is only available to LinkedIn. Google Fonts

My website uses Google Fonts to display external fonts. This is a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Irland (hereinafter: Google).

Through certification according to the EU-US Privacy Shield„EU-US Privacy Shield“) Google guarantees that EU data protection requirements are also complied with when processing data in the USA.

To enable the display of certain fonts on my website, a connection to the Google server in the USA is established whenever my website is accessed.
